Re: fsport ctd at select pilot
You will have to delete the file named "Fsport.freespace.csg" from data\players. This will delete the campaign progress for the FSPort.

Re: fsport ctd at select pilot
since it stopped when reading the red alert section, it might be a known red alert issue, see the link in my sig about hex editing (although I thought that bug was fixed in 3.6.19 releases)

Re: fsport ctd at select pilot
So I created a new pilot (test) and everything was fine. I played through the fsport, finished the campaign.
Then i went into the baracks clicked on my old fsport pilot and deleted it, then I clicked on the working pilot (test) clicked select and ctd again

  • If somebody made a campaign I've probably got it
Re: fsport ctd at select pilot
Make sure you are using the latest nightly build.  There was a problem identified with changing mods with an existing pilot that was only fixed in the latest nightly release.  build 9673 or later has the fix.

see http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?board=173.0 for nightly builds.
Normal people believe that if it isn't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it isn't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.
The difference between Mechanical Engineers and Civil Engineers is:
Mechanical Engineers build weapons.  Civil Engineers build targets
An optimist sees the glass half full; the pessimist sees it half empty. An engineer sees that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
