I was just thinking that this forum could possibly a subject for two kinds of resarch:
Phycological: Over the internet, and with no contact whatesoever with each other, except in some rare circumstances, we have managed to form a community, friendships, political dealings, even hyping projects, as if they were going to actually be sold on the market. We even have the rare in-depth scientific or religious discussion. This is truly amazing.
Anti-computer games case study: Well, check out Shrike's announcement, about your (I already have one) flamethrowers. A bunch of guys in white lab suites could come up and start monitoring us, quoting that all of the violent games we play encourage destructive behavior, well, you know, all the **** that those phonies feed to the media and the frightened, complacent pare-nuts.
