I want to retexture a model... But how do I attach the new files to the model so that I don't have to overwrite the old textures... If you know what I mean...

  • Away in RL land. Back later.
You'll probably have to make a copy the model and texture. Open the texture in PS, or whatever, and change it till your happy with it.
Then, somehow, you're gonna have to change the tex on the model to the new one. As for how to apply the map... well it possible in MAX, but I don't know how TS handles UV mapping. I thinks that's the way V did 'em for fighters and other smaller craft.
