Stuck on Everything Is Permitted
I'm currently playing through War in Heaven R2, but I'm stuck on "Everything is Permitted", the mission where you have to take out Henriksson.

I'm fine for the first part: scanning Artemis Station's subsystems.

The problem is the second part. I can't quite get the hang of the whole "signal spike system". I tried hanging back near the station and watching the transports, but even as Henriksson and Steele began chatting I didn't get any readings.

I tried getting in close to the transports, but then I got a comms spike from all of them, and then the fighters jumped me.

If I can find Henrikkson, I should be able the finish the mission without trouble.

Unfortunately, the walkthrough on the Wiki is incomplete.

So, can anyone help me figure out how to find which transport has Henriksson? $100 dollars (in Parker Brothers Monopoly money) goes to the first person to explain how to do it!

Re: Stuck on Everything Is Permitted
I haven't had any problems with it. You should approach both convoys from the back, and whenever Henriksson speaks point your HUD towards the ship you are guessing. You should always be careful not to appear from the front of the fighters (they do see you if you do that).

When you figure out who's who, there are some different ways to go at it. I myself I was never able to just shoot it and flee, they pwn me every time I try to do that.

Re: Stuck on Everything Is Permitted
There are many video walkthroughs available on YouTube.  :)

Unfortunately I haven't played the mission for a while (my left hand got fractured in accident), however I remember what I used to do:

After scanning subsystems , head between Lambda and Omega wings (the suspects). Then see which wing is Henrikson in. (Using F9 might helpul, also F9 here refers to function key not combination of key-presses) After identifying the wing (let's say Lambda) head behind Lambda 3 (or in the case of Omega, Omega 3) while avoiding the escorts ensuring that they do not visually identify you. Stay behind Lambda 3 (or in the case of Omega, Omega 3) but close enough. Thus you will not be visually identified and if in case Henrikson is on Lambda 1 (or in the case of Omega, Omega 1) you'll be close enough to identify her.

After that it's upto you.  :p

Same, I was never able to just fire and flee, you should pay attention to the mission briefing as it gives you extra ideas on how to go about it.

I'll try these. Thanks guys!

Thanks!

After scanning Artemis Station's subsystems, I waited between the transports groups, checking them alternately, till I got a signal spike on Lambda. I got on Lambda's tail and waited for another message. When it came, the HUD indicated that Henrikksson was on Lambda 2. I called off the fighters with a decoy transport, Shriked Lambda 2, finished it with Gattlers and warped out as the escorts opened fire. I almost didn't make it!

You, and Luis Dias. Since its printable Parker Brothers Monopoly Tender, there's no reason you both can't duplicate it :P

After my first attempt (which went terrible) I never tried to shrike and run. What I did do was hack a Mjolnir. Ah, fun times.

At what distance was the transport?
AFAIK the more farther the transport the more accurate the shot.  :doubt:

Re: Stuck on Everything Is Permitted
I shriked from max gattler range from behind the transport, waited till it was disabled, and shot the thing to pieces. Then I jumped out. The fighters won't be able to get to you in time if you do that. Also,  a single bank of gattlers on the 4 gun point does more damage than dual linked bank of gattlers, unless the mod changes the way weapons are linked.
