i would love to repair my old mouse, but i don't know how, and it might not even be possible. there are no visible ways of accessing the innards, and i i did try to pop off the right button and have a look under it to see what i might be able to do myself, i was unable to get it off without fear of just breaking it. so right now the old mouse is still connected and used as the abuse mouse, i.e. for rapid-clicking tasks (damn you cookie clicker). the g602 is working out well, except for the scroll wheel setting keeps reverting to 2 lines at a time, and the setup software seems needlessly complex (though probably really powerful if i cared to use it fully and do profiles and whatever).
