I just read this:
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/early-doors/arsenal-fan-loses-house-over-united-wager-145341020.htmlIn Uganda, a man staked his house on the result of the Manchester United/Arsenal match against his rival's car
and wife.He is now out on the street along with his 5 children and 3 wives.
It reminded me of how on holiday in Tunisia, my Grandad was once offered a chance to trade in my Grandma for the man's taxi and several camels. With each refusal, additional camels were added to the deal, until the man finally gave up. Does anyone else know anyone who was offered such a deal, or experienced it personally? I'm just curious, about what was offered, and how regularly this might occur. Till death do us part we say here. In other parts of the World though, the parting can occur simply for the right amount of money or goods.
