The main thing that keeps me away from here is my full-time job, which is as a high school mathematics teacher. (As it happens, I'm moving to a new school this year after 6 years teaching at my alma mater. I'm going to be a "head teacher", responsible for leading 23 other teachers - fun for the whole family!) Anyhow, to help my students, about a year ago I started shooting videos of all my lessons and putting them online. Here, have some links:
Channel trailer (If you're in a hurry - it's 41 seconds long. Warning, you're going to see my face and hear my face if you click. Turn away now if you don't want to spoil the magic.)

FacebookYeah okay, that's about enough I think. The main course I teach is Higher School Certificate (HSC) Mathematics Extension 1. For US folks, that's kind of like Precalculus and AP Calculus BC rolled into one.
I also have some technology videos on there too (from the times when I've taught computing subjects) - stuff on
database systems,
decision support systems and various other stuff. You can even get some
guitar lessons while you're at it...
Anyhow, I figured this might be useful to some of you (or maybe if you know some people in high school, you can pass the word along).
