So I just finished the whole Freespace 2 campaign with a friend of mine. And he would love to continue the story or maybe play FS1 campaign with me.
But when I looked into it I noticed, that it's only the FS2 Campaign that have been converted for Co-Op play.
I would like to know if anyone has started a conversion for Co-Op play on the Blue Planet: Age of Aquarius and War in Heaven Acts, as well as the FS1 campaign. Becuase I've been searching and I find nothing on it except for the blueplanet_multi installation. But that ONLY comes with custom team/dog fights and I want to play through the whole campaign with my friend. And he as well, since he don't wanna play them alone.
Have I've just missed them or is it impossible to convert FS1, expansions, BP1, BP2 for Co-Op? I know they are 1 player missions, but by just putting an alpha 2 (for 2 player) or for 4 player alpha 2,3 and 4 on those missions. This might complicate the story since the you're probably supposed to be alone at times. But this should be no problem to those playing the Co-Op since you would know about and just have to accept it if you wanna play it.
So, any info on how to convert these campaigns for Co-Op? I want some hints. If no one have done it, I wouldn't mind lookin in to it. Even though I have no experience or knowledge for programming or any small tasks related to programming.
