Cats are awesome. Proof within!

So this dog attacks this little kid on a bike, yeah? Well this cat, just comes out of nowhere, karate kicks the dog about 3 feet, and chases it away. Then comes back to escort the kid inside. I lol'd.

Poor kid.  :(
That's one kick ass attack cat!  I... yeah, I'd love to say that any of my cats would do that for me, but I cannot see it.  They are sweeties, but they... well.  Actually, the ONLY one that might do something like that is the timid one that hides under the bed all the time.  She is a lot closer to her inner hunter than the others, and I think that's part of why she's so scared around people all the time.  Timid little thing, and it takes a lot of annoying to get her to show any sign of aggression, but she packs a more murderdeathkill into a single paw-swipe when you actually do piss her off than either of the other two combined.

i doubt my cats would be much use in that situation. the oldest cat is too fat to accomplish anything more than the eat, sleep, **** cycle. she tends to hide when things aren't boring. the next oldest is kind of territorial, he always has to go outside to chase away the neighbor's cats. he avoids new people though, it takes time for him to get used to you. hes not very good at murder either. in his 12 years i've seen him bring home a tiny shrew, dead, and a baby bird, alive and undamaged. he once managed to destroy a mouse cage, pinning one mouse under the rubble and cornering another behind a door. i wonder how long they were having their starring contest before i found them. neither mouse was permanently damaged. the 3rd cat is still a kitten and as such is an unknown quantity. however she is a nuclear reactor, a trouble maker and in about a week after i got her she managed to take top spot in the pecking order against cats ten times her weight. i just brought her home from getting fixed a few hours ago, and the effects of anesthesia hasn't worn out yet, and she is already causing trouble.

Incredible! I'd never expect a cat to do such a thing, more like a dog thing for me.
I guess it doesn't matter which one does the work as long as it gets done.

Awesome!

I wonder if my cat would do that? He's a big, athletic cat with a mind of his own. I really had to work to earn his trust, but now that I've done so he's become protectively loyal. He likes to escort me while I jog, which the neighbors think is bizarre. "How do you get your cat to do that? I can't get my DOG to follow me!"
Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move." - Captain America

That kitty reminds of my hellion cat, except this cat is good while mine just attacked everything (and discovered mass = chaos) after she was declawed for attacking kids.

Finally nice to see more "good" cats than I can Haz Cheezeburger.
Blame Blue Planet for my Freespace2 addiction.

That is one dead dog.

Literally
If I recall, it was euthanized or at least that was what was said to be something to happen shortly afterwards
