Hi, everyone! I'm new and glad to be here, and very glad to be making an attempt to play FreeSpace 2 in Win7 x64. It has been way too long since I last played it (when WinXP was still the latest), and I sorely miss it. Freelancer is satisfying, but not 100%. hehe :)

Anyway, without further ado, here's the error that I'm getting:

The 2014 MediaVPs require a version of FSO newer than 3.7.0. I highly recommend that you use 3.7.2 RC4 or a recent Nightly Build.

Thank you. All is well now, and I'm configuring my keyboard layout!

Edit: Is the 'Kick ass' link a bit like a Reputation or Reward system?

Thanks again, btw. I just finished the first part of the training, and it's like riding a bike. Only, this is the best damn bike in the entire world!! I haven't been this happy in a long time. LOL My most favorite and most beloved game is back in my life, and it's better than ever thanks to this mod!
