i got a fresh instal of freespace 2 got the latest installer and build and i still cant get it to work help plz?

it freezes when i go to start the new campaign in the loading screen, i can play the freespace 2 campaign with the blue planet complete mod on but thats about it

Blue Planet is not compatible with the 3.7.2 build. You need to use a recent nightly build, like this one.

thanks so much ive been trying for the life of me to figure this out, registration wasnt working well a bit ago so it was a struggggggggle, now last question how do i know which one to dl? sse? n what not?

Unless your PC is truly ancient (like, pre-Pentium 4 ancient), SSE2 is the one to use.

Which is why an SSE2 build is now referred to as a "standard" build, just to clarify.

You can always check out CPU-Z (in my signature) and see if your CPU supports AVX, which supercedes SSE2.  (First AVX processors came out in 2011, so if your rig is newer than that, it's possible).

If you can't be arsed to check if your CPU supports AVX, just grab an SSE2 / Standard build.
