Ok, here's something i made, first putting the ships together (though the orion is only about 2/3 there, my brain hurts when i try to finish the rest), then taking a screenshot, then adding in a planet i made another time, some beams, stars and a sun in PSP-7.
What do you recon?

Don't you think putting Legos on a computer kinda defeats the whole point of Legos in the first place???

It's okay, but I don't prefer those lego-renders... :doubt:

Ah, but the thing automatically makes those Lego instruction sheet thingies that you can print out to make whatever.

Yes and no.  I have no where near enough parts to make any of those ships out of my real lego.  But there's things that are too complex (technic models, mainly) to make in MLCAD, plus you wouldnt get to see them working.

Well i'm not really a render artist, its just a screenshot with a few things drawn on it after all....

Yeah, but LEGOS are fun because it's hands-on- you get to build the stuff yourself. CG is enjoyable because you're unconstrained in what you can do- you're not limited to little box shapes, etc. Basically, MLCAD seems to combine the downside of both worlds.

Well not everyone has the space to have Lego land in their closet...

would post some self made models myself but HL really dosent like MSN.communities... witch is odd since other boards using the same boards can handle posting the images...

Ahh, get those colors right. Orions aren't grey.
