FS and FS2 dead on Neoseeker fourm

Found this forum quite by accident, it contains all games from A to Z... I entered the freespace forum and found it very dead and the same for the FS2 forum there... I hope this will not be a trend of things to come:shaking:

Oh I also left a link at neoseeker forum to HLP.. Let them know it`s not dead at all, only better:)

You know, considering that there are all of maybe two active FreeSpace communities left, and any newbies are simply those who know the old members or came back from a year or two of not being active, it somehow doesn't suprise me that one pissing little FS forum in a general games community is dead.

Yeah. Lots of people- but still, most of those are inactive accounts. Few forums get 1000 active members, and they suck completely as a rule. And at any rate, everyone's consolidated into the two big forums. There's still a decent-sized community for a game like FreeSpace, but it's not a growiung community by any stretch of the imagination. Loss of the corporate forum tends to do that, since then there's no real way for newbies to get informed of the other game communities. Need I take out the hand puppets to demonstrate online community dynamics? Just observe around you.
