Could I get a title for people working for Full Circle that were currently not working on any other project, and therefor had their title erased in favor of the FC avatar?

If there are any threads you want stickied for whatever reason, ask in the threat itself, bumping them if necessary.  That way we don't have to go looking through old threads.

This is surprising, I wonder how many other HLP Admins have no idea how to fix the 'front page problem' thingy... does that mean the community is stuck with seeing a all over the place page..for the next few yonks...:nod:

:lol: Hardly - I just need FTP access to the HLP 3DAP servers; I know how to make pretty much any change needed in the realm of HTML, I just can't sccess it - yet. I should be getting my FTP access along with the rest of the new hosted people, so... :)

EDIT: Oops, my bad - the 3DAP servers, not the dynamic ones. :o

I thought the entire HLP site was on a HTTP server not a FTP server, you must be talking about file and image hosting because dynamic gamespy is a HTTP server the way I see it... perhaps you could further explain!

Is there going to be a newer better front page version ever, for HLP that is, you'd think the HLP Admins would have a website wiz on the team. (or was Setekh the one who designed it all...) or you dudes can't be bothered.

The majority of the HLP pages are on the 3D action planet server, whereas the forums are on one of the dynamic servers.

As for a new frontpage, we're not thinking about that at the moment.  I think most of us are pretty busy in RL at the moment so any big style changes can wait.

Regardless of HTTP or FTP server pages and files are uploaded and modified via FTP in the majority of instances. Only exception to this is GeoCities-like PageBuilder crap that does it via an actual web page.

So in order to add/remove any buttons to/from the fornt page, one needs FTP access to that 3DAP (HTTP) server.
