I found this a long time ago, and it's extremely interesting. It also makes you wonder who has this kind of time on his hands to find and calculate all of this (especially the Death Star section).

SERIOUSLY...! | {The Sandvich Bar} - Rhino-FS2 Tutorial | CapShip Turret Upgrade | The Complete FS2 Ship List | System Background Package

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Eh? Never noticed that before... :nervous:
Well, I found it years ago but forgot about it until now.

And be sure to check out the calculations on the Death Star superlaser power which turns out to be more than the energy produced if the whole Death Star was annihilated by antimatter: 3.4x10^38 J . :eek2:

Yeah, I've seen this site for a while.

And I don't really like it. It has some good ideas and refrence points, but it ****s with the SW universe trying to explain everything.

Every Star Destroyer that was drawn different or bigger or different colored is a new class. They try to explain gay things or say that the Death Star was really more like 500 km wide instead of 120.

I guess it's just prefrence..

It's a very detailed study, much different that the EU. It does point out differences between the Star Destroyer bridges, which IMHO is still fairly important, but I don't recall it ever saying a Star Destroyer was a different class because of its color. And a Star Destroyer drawn different might very well be a new class of Star Destroyer.

The Death Star size is based on calculations and careful observation of the movie; the EU sizes are all ones that sound reasonable, and the only indication of size we know of from the movie is it's as large as a "small moon".

Still, if you don't like it, it's your opinion

Does that place have that report about the death of the Ewoks, because of the radioactive fallout from the destruction of the Death Star? That was really hilarious, cause it really read like a proper report. First they'd lose all they're hair, and most of the wildstock will die, and those who didn't die from radiation sickness, would die from the cold later on. Hehheh.. Poor Ewoks. :D

Meh... some of it's true, but I don't like it. It ****s with how everything works in your head. Like when you read a book with new names and You pronounce them a certain way like "Tie-co" or "An-till-ees" or "X-eh-cue-ter" or "Zee-lot" and then some smartass comes along and corrects you. It kills it.

And i'm not talking about just the bridges.. I mean like if One of the ships is slightly larger (in drawing) then another Imp Star Deuce, it's now "Anonumous Star Destroyer #169 which is infact 1.9 km" as apposed to the standard 1.6 or whatever..

And the whole thing about the Executor being longer than the Eclipse

Point is, there's bound to be descripencies when Sci-fi movie maker creates a world, then leaves it for other writers to feast on, there's bound to be descripencies.. so it seems dumb to me to come in and to try to make everything canon to eachother, and canon to the laws of our galaxy/universe.

Nerds with too much time..

I completely forgot about that section!
You know KT, you're right. The entire site is trash. Utterly meaningless. How DARE they suggest the Ewoks died out on Endor?

It's all a conspiracy by the Peace Brigade, they don't want anyone to know that Lt. Kettch is using a bounty hunter named Boba Fett to create an Ewok army. They don't fool me at all :ha:

Disclaimer: The above post is not to be taken seriously :p

By the way, is there any place that shows the design of a Bothan Assault Cruiser? Because I don't remember the Bothans building anything that fights and I read about it in the New Jedi Order series of novels.

As far as I know, there isn't an official design for it.  Just like for the latest Mon Cal ship mentioned in the early NJO novels.

Was there a new Mon Calamari ship mentioned in the New Jedi Order series? Which book? I've got all the novels so far except Vector Prime. Was it mentioned there?
