Actually, FreeSpace won't acknowledge it at all. It's working all right in control panel calibration and all, but not in FS. I can't remap keys to it and I can't use the default setup either.

Stupid question....but you did make sure it was selected in FS' setup menu right ? If you changed/reloaded drivers FS would have deselected the stick so you'll have to do it again.
