It seem that FS SCP is finally reaching the point that most of the projects are giving a new dimension to the game.

I was wondering if something could be done about the way backgroung textures are handled - or layered to make sense.
One of the things I've always wantes to do was a planet with a rising sun - but you can't just put the star behind the planet, because it'll still glow through.

If textures could be layered, that would make it possible to put something above everything else.

I don't know if it's hard to implement - I haven't :sigh: looked into the code yet. *Oh yeah I should learn C first before doing so :nervous:*

The ability to move textures - or stars would be great as well, it could be used to implement the way planets reflect the light from their sun - with the dynamic lighting it would create a great atmosphere

speaking of backgrounds, what about 3d-modeled backgrounds? That  a possibility? Shouldn't be too hard with the subspace code.
