ok, i'm asking for help, again.
anyway, i've got an economy project for school, and me and a friend have chosen the following topic:
the difference between the social security system in the Netherlands and the US.
basicly, i haven't got a clue where to get started on the US end. we've decided to only take 3 states as an example, to make our workload a little bit easier. these states are: Nevada, Montana and Illinois. basicly, i'm looking for the tax scales for those states, and the minimum average incomes. also, i'm looking for info on the price of health care, education and other things like that. also information on pensions and unemployment benifits would be of help.
i wouldn't mind of someone would just give me a phone number, or an URL or e-mail adres, but i just don't have a clue where to start. i don't even know the names of most US governement agencies responsible for this.
i would very much apreciate your help guys.
