Splinter Cell DEMO....
Here is my problem. I start it, open the door, go right, then left and there is a door to my right. It has a lock. I used those LOCK PICKS but when I press E (default key for equipment use) it takes out the gun. I sellect the picks again by pressing CTRL and selecting them with left mouse button. On the right bottom of the screen, I see that the picks are selected, and when I press E then he pulls the gun again.

Play IGI2 instead. It's that simple.

I think you have to have the lock-picks selected and open the door as normal.

The only problem I had with the demo is the lightning source goes through textures (I see streetlights through walls and stuff).
I finally destoryed the Shivan armada and all I got was this lousy T shirt.

Why, because you couldn't figure out how to work it? Monkey.

The demo was sweet (though short). Splinter Cell is on the list of games to aquire

  • Away in RL land. Back later.
IIRC, you can't enter doors with bars. Move along to the right.

Yeah. Those doors you can't get in to...

Good game though. Too short.
I have returned... Again...

Stupid argument? Dude, not being able to complete a game (or demo) is not good grounds for dismissing it a piece of ****. Thus, my argument is valid and you smell of goat's cheese. Now, I don't rememeber that door in particular, as I played the demo once (and that was back in January). I didn't have any trouble with not being able to open doors, though. And I would guess that, since there are 2D bars over it, the door causing you so much grief is intended by the deisgners to stay shut.

And as for it being short - you talking about the demo or the game? The demo was indeed short - but then that's the point.

The demo wasn't that bad albeit a little short. Don't dismiss the game just because you suck at it though.

 Maybe if it was an openable door you'd have more luck.
What frequency are you getting? Is it noise or sweet sweet music? - Refused - Liberation Frequency.
