Question about O.R.B.
Does anyone here have it?  And is it any good.  I just bought it today and it dosent work on my intallation of Win2k.  The readme says upgrade ti service pack 2 or later, but i already have sp2.  So i figured, "Why waste a few hours downloading sp3 for nothing?"

PS: It bears a striking similarity to Homeworld...

from what I've heard, it's basically a direct clone of Homeworld. Also, I've heard the AI is probably the worst ever put into the game, the campaign is boring, well, you get the idea.
But, if it's moddable, mebbe you could fix that? :D

in case of emergency, administer caffeine to the artist,

The game is moddable to a point(afaik), it comes with a campaign editor and a player made an ini file editor a week or two back.  but other than that i guess it didn't live up to its promos.

But the graphics are awesome, and from what i read the mulitplayer is everything freelancer wanted to be crossed with homeworld and a bit of MOO3.

Well, I don't know about all that.  I played it on my friend's new PC shortly after I traded the game for a fairly new burner. And the tutorials were quite playable the AI wasn't that bad either, of course that was only the tutorials.  I will play one of the main campaigns sometime and get back to you guys on just how it is.
