i had this pack for a while, but never got around to releasing it.
all it does is make the standard fs2 nebula backgrounds more colorful.  you may have seen them in action in a screenshot i took for the source code project, even though it doesn't really do justice.

Those are great.  I haven't downloaded the pack, but where do we put them?

Also, if these replace the existing nebulas, why don't you and the SCP people consider putting it into the next .vp of added SCP goodness (like glowmaps, etc) for FS2?

The freespace2/data/effects folder.

I don't like them. Too colorful, too unrealistc, too distracing, too gaudy. Why on Earth would you want them in the SCP VP?
