Do glowmaps work in the non source FS2?
BTW, I'm not noticing any difference in either version. I put the files in the right folder but I don't see any change.

for some reason they don't work for d3d in 3.5.3

Do glowmaps work in the non source FS2?
AFAIK, they won't actually glow, ie. they won't cast coloured glows. Otherwise, they 'work' in that they show up, and most folk reckon they look better than the default maps even without the glow effect.

And the end of the day Large mate, you could always try it yourself. Suck it n' see, as the advert said :)

it is a source code change hence useing a source code executable is sort of an important thing
