As you may know, all being well I am getting broadband connected tomorrow, and so for the first time I shall be able to play decent PC games against real people.

To this end, I wish to know if anyone here plays JKII online, and if so, do they fancy a duel?

Also, how do I go about this, I am very green when it comes to multiplayer gaming, as I have never attemped it before, aside from a little AoE and Doom over the school LAN.

I play, some. Not much though. Normally you just go to Multiplayer mode and look for Internet servers. Or, you can connect directly to someone's IP if you want a 1 on 1. Find me on AIM/ICQ/Y!M tomorrow (assuming the connection's going to work )and we'll set something up.

I used to play. I was at the top 10 by december last year at one of the servers, but those were the old days. Anyway, if I get ADSL back, I'll shout. The player-name you allrerady know, I presume.

Splendid. 'Fraid I don't have any IM programs. I have just D/Led IRC. Any good?

I'll probably get ICQ when the connection come up, though.

Funny you mention this..... I just started playing JK2 again today...

Get the JediPlus mod for it... lets ya use dual blades, or a doublebladed saber too... nice features in it too. There's a bunch of servers that use it as well, so i suggest you get it.

If anyone wants to set up a game, I'll be interested

I used to play JK2... great fun choking people then pushing them up into the air. Don't play online though, since I have the same prob as you (dialup).

The latest is 1.04, if you use google you tend to come up with 1.03, so here's a more direct link:
