As the title says, what do you think of my second attempt?

I spent several more hours on this one and learned a lot in the process.  Got irritated when PSP didn't have a blend mode to do what I wanted but figured out a work around.

Anyways:

"Apollo In Your Face"
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

much better...

word of advice tho (take it you're using lunacell and solarcell)

solarcell:
get rid of the actual sun part for the star, and just have the glare..(click on the star bit in the settings and choose the 'flat' settings)

Lunarcell:
just smooth the clouds down a little bit, they look a bit like sandpaper...

that's about it...don't ask me how to do things in PSP tho, i use photoshop...:p

I really like it, save for the sun. It's like Turnsky says, just have the flare.

Retouched it a bit, since the (blank)Cell plug-ins I have don't support redoing the variables of the images, I had to go back and redo the planet and star.  The planet looks much more realistic to me but I'm biased.

The engine bursts are not really smooth. Remove them and add a real engine glow. Well that's at least what I would do.
