Yet another software question
Recommend me a good video editing software. My version of Premiere just hung up on me, so I need something fast.

Unfortunately, the download every site links to is down.

I'm thinking of going for Ulead Media Studio 6.0. Anyone have experience with that?

I have Ulead Videostudio ( came with my dvd reader if I'm not mistaken ), tried it a long time ago, don't have great memories about it. I guess the one you're talking about is in the same lines...

Adobe Aftereffects

You pretty much (I said pretty much) need Premier to use that effectively.

I hear the best combination of hardware and software is actually a Mac running OS X plus the latest Premier and After Effects.  The ONLY time I recommend using a Mac for anything aside from being a paper weight is in this instance.

But the latest Premie on a good PC would do as well.

Well, not sure exactly what you are wanting to use this for, but here at the university, we use Final Cut Pro. Seems to be a favorite in the video editing world.
