feh, sadness, an ex post facto
feh, didn't win the case mod contest...

the winner had this thirty dollar piece he beat to death, I'll admit, it was nice :)

got some spyware adaware couldn't kill, hexed a file, killed it, tweaked my network connection twenty times, killed it, got it working again, our section got a virus, had to scan, had to restart my box thirty or forty times and finally got it working.

that was all within the first eight hours of a one hundred and two hour convention :D

seriously, if you live in the louisville\cincy area, check it out :D
www.millionmanlan.com (big, five thousand or so people, less often)
www.lanwar.com (smaller, two fifty to three hundred people, more often)

feh, got a bunch of other good things though, totally new version of stepmania (DDR for the PC), couple gigs of music, bunch of movies, etc.

btw, if you've not seen equilibrium yet, see it, it's phenomenal! :)

cheers
bob

Just so you might be able to avoid such nasties later.... I've heard spybot can remove spyware/adware more effectively than ad-aware, probably worth checking out. (there's a znet review on the matter I think)
Science alone of all the subjects contains within itself the lesson of the danger of belief in the infallibility of the greatest teachers in the preceding generation . . .Learn from science that you must doubt the experts. As a matter of fact, I can also define science another way: Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts. - Richard Feynman
