I remember reading somewhere that the divx support has been implemented into the SCP.exe . And here is my question: is there a way to activate it?

Sorta.

The movie playing code will use whatever codecs you have installed to play them.

I see... one question though: how do I add movies?

I'm not sure, haven't been Fredding with the recent SCP builds in a while, but I think you refrence the movie just like you would a clip.  Just provide the file in the right place.

Anyone who's used the Campaign Editor will have noticed the field for a "Briefing cutscene". Just enter the filename
of the movie, and it should play right before the Command Briefing .Movie support needs to be enabled with the "-dshowvid"
command line option. Otherwise, movies will be skipped when they're set to play.
