Stargate:- Season 8 Confirmed
I never could figure out how Teal'c could dream that he's a regular-joe human firefighter when Teal'c doesn't possess the knowledge to have such a dream in the first place.

Stargate:- Season 8 Confirmed
Ah but you forget, it wasn't just a dream, was it?

It was all just a metaphorical hallucination induced by Danny boy. And considering he could blow up a planet on a whim, methinks he'd find it pretty easy to gather enough info on the US fire services to create a realistic dream world.

Maybe he'd seen a documentary on the Discovery channel about firemen. I assume the USAF has cable.

'Window of Opperunities' is like one of the funniest,

Jack: What could possibly be in my eye that could explain this?

Among other things.
Got Ether?

I just got back from a three week trip from France and as I got home I was readily able to watch the latest episode of Stargate since I also missed the past two weeks of it.  But unfortuneatly they had to play TREMORS and never even played it I can't believe that they did that but fortuneatly this topic has brought back my love for Stargate since there is gonna be an 8th season.

Stargate:  Atlantis

They're makin a SG-1 spin-off.  It takes place underwater(i dont get how) and follows a team of civvies lead by a women.  I dont understand at all.
If happiness is a warm gun and love is a battlefield, why should we give peace a chance?

C-130 rollin' down the strip
hits a rock and start to tip
its all right, its OK
full of soldiers anyway

I think we should go Mung his dead grandma. - anOn

Stargate:- Season 8 Confirmed
Stargate Atlantis is supposed to be a spinoff series which revolves around an off world SGC base which is supposed to be ran by O'Neil since he is going to be promoted to General or something.  But the team that the show focuses on is a civilian team who investigate alien technology or something like that.:D

Stargate:- Season 8 Confirmed
In the Season 6 Finale, Jonas finds a tablet that talks about the Lost City of the Ancients, Atlantis.  Sometime during the remainder of Season 7, they will discover the location of Atlantis and it will probably be a race against time to get there before Anubis.
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

STARGATE ATLANTIS

Is Stargate SG-1 and the upcoming feature film the end of the Stargate story? No way! Executive producer Brad Wright announced in September, 2001, that the story goes on: Stargate Atlantis, a brand new television show, is in the works!
WHAT IS IT?
In TV Land, they call it a "spin-off." Atlantis is a new series set in the Stargate universe, probably after the events of SG-1 and the next feature film.

WHAT'S THE PREMISE?
Here's how The Sci-Fi Channel describes the show, in their first press release about it (March 31, 2003):

A whole new adventure with a new team begins in the successful Stargate universe. In this spin-off from MGM Worldwide Television, a secret base left by the originators of the Stargate is found in the most unlikely of places: on Earth, buried within the ruins of the legendary civilization Atlantis. The implications of this discovery lead the team to a distant universe, where they find a primitive human civilization threatened by a sinister new enemy.

The producers intended to set up the premise for Atlantis with an SG-1 feature film, but instead will tell that story in a 2-part finale for Season Seven of Stargate SG-1 (airing in early 2004). Creator Brad Wright told fans that the new series will not be based on a military team. Executive producer Robert C. Cooper has said that the film's story "evolves the Stargate."
The search for the Lost City of the Ancients (the builders of the Stargate network) will occupy SG-1 during Season Seven.

WHO WILL BE IN IT?
Casting has not yet begun for the show, and it's unknown which characters might appear in the new series. Most likely, it will be a new cast and a new set of characters. While SG-1 cast members could (and probably will, according to SG-1 executive producer Joseph Mallozzi) make guest appearances, don't count on any of the show's regulars to sign on to be regulars on Atlantis.

WHERE WILL IT AIR?
Stargate Atlantis is in currently development for The Sci-Fi Channel in the U.S. Most likely, it will also air in U.S. syndication a year or so later (as SG-1 does currently).

WHEN WILL IT AIR?
Sci-Fi is currently anticipating that Atlantis will be a part of its 2004-2005 schedule, meaning it could debut in June, 2004. It's still up in the air, as MGM and Sci-Fi decide whether the franchise will continue with an eighth season of SG-1, a feature film, Atlantis, or some combination thereof.
