Just wait, my unprecedented love for my digital camera (and that's Brotherly love, an0n) will probably fade in... oh about a year or so. Until then, you're going to have to put up with these chants.
Anyway, I went to one of our offshore islands for the last 5-6 days. Mostly because the dacha there needed to be cleaned up, but also because my father had organised a big reunion thingy with his relatives, which means about 8000 out of the 9000 inhabitants of said island. Unfortunately only 4000 of 'em managed to show up (slight sarcasm point here). The relatives ranged from ages 2-99, with a little heavy on the 50-69 side. Nevertheless, it was fun, so I've included a small portion of the ~200 pics I took.
On a side note, the life on that island pretty much sucks. The host of the party couldn't join us until 11 PM because the animals had to be fed, and had to leave at 5 AM, because... the animals had to be fed. The average salary there is about 200 USD per month. And yet I have never seen a more fun-loving, optimistic group of people in my life. Learn from it. Whine less. Drink more.
Now to the pics:
