First off, it's roll playing. There's nothing wrong with it. And second, He is doing it by choice. And so are probably thousands of others. It's not like he's raping a goat for heaven's sake. Why is everyone so critical of everything?

Role playing, or cosplay, can be good sometimes. It helps you get more into character, it helps promote something you really like, and it's fun because it's wacky. Experience gained in making the costumes could be useful too.

Not that any of that means I'm ever going to even think of doing it

That said, I have nothing against cosplay ( I figured last year it was pretty cool when I saw those 3 gorgeous girls cosplaying the girls from Cat's Eyes - gotta see what I'm talking about so you can understand, and I don't feel like explaining, as usual you'll say- )

oh when it's about animecon then it's understandable, cosplay belongs to animecon. That costume is just hilarious
