Just the ability to do it was "hidden"

my geuss is that he uses LVLshot instead of img, because that would explain:
a) the fact that it works
b) the fact that it's huge.

Shrike disabled siggy images because they annoy him. He's gonna be mightily cross, and I imagine the other admins won't be best pleased either.

It was a LVLSHOT tag.

And anyone else found doing this will get his profile edited and locked. The fact that the IMG tag is blocked should be a hint to the fact that we don't want to see images on signatures.
