Hey, I like that. :) Composed quite reasonably. Good quality effects work. Heh, nice engine trails, though I'd make the engine glows a little more white and a little less blue, but that's a personal taste thing. Well done, dude, don't call that crappy.
- Eddie Kent Woo, Setekh, Steak (of Steaks), AWACS. Seriously, just pick one.
HARD LIGHT PRODUCTIONS, now V3.0. Bringing Modders Together since January 2001.
THE HARD LIGHT ARRAY. Always makes you say wow.

Actually, bob, I was doing that particular engine effect before you coded the better looking of the two.  Although mine are just to show afterburner use.

Steak, thanx.

Also, I do have a few more, but they aren't on par with this and I don't even like this one.  And if you're wondering, this pic was made using only Modelview, Photoshop, and various KPT and Flaming Pear plugins.

do not torment the sleep deprived artist, he may be vicious when cornered,
in case of emergency, administer caffeine to the artist,
he will become docile after that,
and less likely to stab you in the eye with a mechanical pencil

It looks like it could be my Garou from the 158th (actually, I think we use a different name, but Garou was the mesh name during dev). So lets just pretend you somehow got ahold of a Garou mesh and you're using that. :D

But considerring that you're willing to say it was one of yours (Even from such a dark shot) is... damn, I don't know a word for that. :p

But we can pretend I stole your work, yes.

I broke down and made another one last night.  It is pretty simple, but it works.

I hate My signature!

I've tried it Carl, and it does not work with my methods.  Teaching oneself leads to some odd habbits and workarounds to problems that don't exist.  I can see a way to please the almighty shivan, but I dont feel like changing my already working ways.  Also, for having very limited resources and experience, i'd say im pretty damn good.

And thats another point, I meant the title of the thread.  If you want professional quality renders, go somewhere else.  I tried your way once and didn't like it, as evident by the second picture not having the particular effect you were looking for.  The only reason I'm releasing my better works is because Im tired of looking at them and a certain member, whom I respect as an artist, said that the first was good.

Now, if you have any more critisism, although constructive, lets hear it now.
