Well, what can I say? It was awesome. From 8pm to 1140pm non-stop Meat Loaf rock & roll, with two very hot backing singers (mmm.... red leather :devil: ).
Despite a few moments where one could hear the doldrum of Couldn't Have Said It Better, the classics soon flowed and we were being treated to Dead Ringer For Love, Out Of The Frying Pan (and Into The Fire), You Took The Words Right Outta My Mouth, Paradise by the dashboard light, Midnight @ The Lost & Found, need I continue?
The half way mark was signalled by "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)", and the finale was the immortal "Bat Out Of Hell".
This was the last stop of Meat Loaf's "last ever" world tour. I put last ever in quotes since I doubt it'll really be the last. All in all, it was one helluva final show, and truly the best gig I've been to.
And the fat-coated cheeseburger at the wagon outside, combined with my mate's driving skills when tired just finished the night off. (Words I will hear for the rest of 2nite in my head: "I was doing 20 over the limit thats why the very sharp feking bend came up so fast!!")
