Is there a way to play FS2 in a higher resolution
Play Freespace 2 in a higher resolution then 1024x768 with some mod or tweak or something?

In answer to Gabriel's question, not to my knowledge. Think the SCP is working on it.

I hate it when people do that to thread titles....

Sorry, I have to work today and it's nearly time to leave and I am pooped right now.

It won't happen again Solatar.

Oh bugger.

Yes, there IS.

Use SCP - check out their FAQ thread for installing and using SCP.
In the launcher you can set higher resolution than 1024 x 768.

I played FS_Open at 1600 x 1200.

However your HUD will be out of order - but only partially.

The lead indicator along with the missile indicator will be screwed and all aroung the place, but other than that it's perfectly playable (and breathtaking too...).

Now if you wanted a "game" with smg. more to offer than pure shooting d/ the port - for some reason I kept playing that over FS2.
I have to realise that other than a few good moments FS1 was wastely superior in the overall feel...that's why Derelict coudl own.

Thx, I will have a look at it. :D
