Specifically, Reciprocity does.
Put simply, every version of PCs I've tried using has had graphical glitches that remove several buttons (including the 'add point' one for paths), making it impossible for me to convert & finalise models. I can only blame this on Windows 2000, as I've tried everything else I can think of to correct this.
So I need someone to be a staff editor - taking the cobs, converting them, and possibly balancing them. Someone able to assemble 3ds files into convertible cobs would be very welcome, but not strictly necessary. Unfortunately, we've lost our previous 2 convertors for work reasons, and Dg is probably the only person still qualified - and he's also the new project lead and Fredder, so I'd rather avoid overburdening him.
At present, we have around 3 cobs requiring conversion, and 1 pof that only needs path data added. There are some secondary issues regarding the other models that may require reconversion (in particular, one model will definately need converted to correct a texture problem), but the key is to get models ready for use in Freding. It's likely the workload will be light, though - we're planning a more protracted development time, largely due to my workload at uni and the subdivision of the campaign into 3 parts - so it'll probably end up being a model a month or so.
An ability to work with hi-poly (HTL) models would also be helpful.
Please reply / ask questions here, thanks. I'd imagine we'll be needing more staff, but that's a later issue I'll have to discuss with the rest.
