Is the team aware of the length of time it takes to unload after an exit? On my father's laptop it takes nearly a minute before I can realisitically consider starting a new app.

System Specs
P4M 1700mhz
512 MB DDR something
Mobility Radeon 7000(crappy)

using
Launcher 3.4
release 1_20_2004_fs2_open_r

Mind you that version of FRED is smooth as glass, but it takes a long time to exit the game exe.

I believe that is due to the large memory footprint that version uses. Later versions do not have this problem any longer.

Isn't the 1_30 a debug build? Aren't debug builds slower than release builds to begin with?
