Sweet.  Yeah, I heard about this a few months ago.  McFarlene was actually going to do a straight-to-video Movie that got dumped as soon as he found out he could re-air.  The movie was going to be stewie's realizatoin that he's gay.

Well, at one point he didn't think he had a large enough fan-base.  Oh, he's also making an appearance in one of the upcoming Enterprise episodes (McFarlane, not Stewie).

Just the other night I saw a family guy episode where Peter Dreamed he was in narnia... Wierd...
