Could the launcher have an uninstall option and possibly a tab where you can set files or mods to be exculed when you unistall??

yes, there will eventually be an uninstaller.

Fractux is the lead on that. I believe it will make it's debut in 3.6 (yeah, we still plan on doing a 3.6 ).
