I Tend to Disagree:
* Resolutions work perfectly fine on LCDs now, there is a limited blurriness and only on resolutions other than the maximum one

.
* The refresh rate is not slow, its exactly the same as a CRT, as a matter of fact my Viewsonic VG700 (17") goes up to 75Hz for 1280*1024, differences are minimal from 60Hz through to 75Hz for LCDs. What your probably referring to is the response time, mine is 16ms which is very good for gaming. While older ones still have the 20ms or 25ms, Samsung has recently brought out a 10ms LCD Display.
* Viewing angles, really old news... AFAIK LCDs of this time having viewing angles just as good if not better than CRTs.

Some truth in this:
* Resolutions tend to look ok
* Refresh rates, in CRT technology this is something important but in LCDs it doesn't have much of an effect.
* Viewing angles - useless argument, both CRT and LCD are similar if not the same
* Space with CRTs is a big thing for some people.
* Soft Image, more like sharper, LCDs tend to only display a sharper image on the fixed resolution.
* Another dis I thought I'd mention CRTs produce more heat, use more power and produce radiation.
I also came across some information from Sony, there discontinuing production on their 21" CRTs and closing the production plants down for a overhaul. They will now be focusing on the LCD Technology. For those who live in Australia, the stock of Sony monitors that exist here now will not be replenished.

TFT is good if you ONLY use business applications. But as soon as you want to run different resolutions (i.e. play games) you're screwed.
Your judging this on what? I can understand low resolutions like 640*480 or 800*600 but anything higher runs fine. LCDs/TFTs are now becoming standard. Hopefully another technology better than LCDs will come along in time (Plasma is not anywhere near perfect!)
