Hey all.
I've just re-formatted the readme file so is more friendly for those who use Linux
and hate those UTF-8 formats for the (C) and (R) chars, which look awful with VIM :P

I think it should really be updated. 'specially the staff listing that includes only about 50% of the current SCP staff.

One comment.  Would you please add a line in there somewhere about what to turn on if you have a super computer and you want FS2 to looks its best?

This would be for people with the latest computers that can run anything.

uhm,i haven't read it yet, but make sure it contains links to here and most importantly, the wiki. (link under my name). also, check and see if the info in the wiki and in that readme match. the wiki stuff is based on the readme, but has been toroughly edited since, please, update.

The wiki is something I'm not quite used to work with, but I'll try. (Back it up, anyway. I don't want to screw it up)

you mean the geforce font problem fix? 1) it works, i use it. 2) it isn't Geforce, or even nVidia specific. my Radeon 7000 needs it too.

Ok. new readme is updated with last URLs for Bug Tracking and Doc sites.
Also, the staff list is updated.

I removed some command-line parameters which are no longer in use since 3.5.5.

Since this is not the actual 3.6 readme file for the upcoming version, kasperl and me decided we'll not update this readme any further unless is for the next official 3.6 release. This new readme will reflect what will be in the next version and what changes has been done, some little help about how to run the game and what ubermetroid asked earlier and the links for the HLP and FSSCP sites, the HLP forums and the Mantis.

Of course, the Wiki is being thoroughly updated. So, *use it*
