Photoshop/Fireworks .gif help
What's the best way to compress the file size of an animated .gif without doing little to the actual size of it? Like image quality or something?

Also, how do you delete unwanted pixels (feathering) in animated .gifs?
I finally destoryed the Shivan armada and all I got was this lousy T shirt.

Photoshop's imageready program has a Optimised/original Preveiw, so you can compress every which way,

as for gif halos. a 1px border stroke(same color as the outer line, usually black) on each of the offending frames..

do not torment the sleep deprived artist, he may be vicious when cornered,
in case of emergency, administer caffeine to the artist,
he will become docile after that,
and less likely to stab you in the eye with a mechanical pencil

 just telling people what i've learnt.
i make a fair amount of use of photoshop's "save for web" feature to /try/ and get my comics below 200 k

that said, one thing about photoshop, it makes for some mighty hefty files.. i have a PSD file weighing in at 296 mb :eek2:

yeh, they're pretty easy to get the size up, hell I've seen a Gb file before, that was in the printing industry though.
But just scanning in a roll of film in high res format is enough to suck up some hdd space. :p
