The ship does have kamikaze orders later on but I don't know if that has any effect. I'll up load it to the FTP but I'm at a loss.

(STN being the name of the mission)

I think I have heard of this bug before, its an fs2_open bug if I am not mistaken. You could try searching the SCP forum for a solution.

I vaguely recall a similar prob I had with selfdestruct not actually killing a ship but I doubt if it's related. Either way, anyone recognise this ?

>.< a little info about the ship would help... but heres a try:

sometiems it helps if you just go to the ships stats and just retype in 100 in the health thing. thats always been a problem in FS2... sometimes FRED just loses touch with the keyboard for some reason... then again, this is with FS2 retail FREd.

The ship Self-destruct couldn't kill. Did it do a huge amount of damage when it blew up by any chance? Cause there is/was a bug related to that.
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

The self destruct was something else, not related directly to this.

This mission requires a Cruiser to be stopped before it can escape, but it's pointless when the ship starts the mission on 0% integrity and (for good measure) is disarmed and disabled.

edit: removing kamakazie tag has no effect.
adjusting damage inflicted has no effect.
adjusting the timing of events rerlated to the ship has no effect.
whacking my head against the desk and shouting insults at my pc has no effect.
