Ever wanted to do a mission in the subspace of an unstable jump node? Well now you can! Go into the background editor and click on the box marked 'Full Nebula'. In the nebula editor, there will be six more check boxes, with different 'poofs'. Ensure that none of these are checked. There will be two drop down boxes, one with nebula patterns, and the other with storms. Make sure that a nebula pattern is not selected. If one is not selected, the box should be blank. Now, go to the storm drop down box and select active. Be sure to put your mission in subspace, then viola! You have an unstable node! Although there will be a nebula, it is barely visible, and it also makes the sides glow a little red. Try it, it's neat.

InfernoGod is not responsible for any problems that FS2 may experience while creating missions without the subspace patch. Also must pay $2.99 or 10 pounds of space crack for entry to the node. Results may vary. See details inside.

This came up way back on the VBB - it looks alright, but the shifting colours in the extreme BG tend to mess up the effect. Though this may not happen with LSs new Subspace maps, I'm not entirely sure.

It's possible to have the nebula effect and the subspace effect at the same time?

GE asked me once about adding the nebula lightning - just the lightning - to subspace.  Another thing for the SCP to-do list. ;)

Well, I'm gonna use it in my campaign, so I hope a way comes out to get rid of the nebula colors. Either that or I just modify some things...:drevil:
