With regard to newbies, it's worth being gentle and sticking with them, even the ones who seem like idiots. Many of them are young (as I was when I started this whole confounded business - I was 13!) and will advance quickly as they spend time in the community and learn from more mature members. The trick is, the more mature members are us. So be mature, but humble. It works.

So Inferno requires SCP or what? and how big is that file, never really paid too much attention to that MOD but I heard its nice.

Well it requires the inferno build, as one of their ships currently breaks the HTL map limit, but this should be fixed when the patch is released. Sol: A History, however, only needs the Inf Core.vp and the Inf EA.vp, so that should work with the SCP.

Only two people (that I know of) can lay claim to spreading those much needed files to make HotUs' version run almost like the full version of FS2 are da man himself (Fractux) and me.
Though my 256K upstream isn't all that much help, it's enough to get you what you need.
