*S* HLPerz,
Well, after hearing that FS2 was technically sort of legal-ish to maybe download, I got the HOTU version, which was rubbish, so then I found eMule, which had all 3 ISO CD-Images. After all, its just like "getting a copy from a friend," except multiple friends that you dont really know from around the world

So, I ran it at maximum details, etc, very nice graphics, and I finished the single player campaign too. To me, though, I actually liked the FS1 story better, more of a "We must destroy the such and such or its the end-of-the-world", whereas FS2 was more like "Everything Sucks, Alpha 1, so escort a bunch of stuff, save convoys, blow up stuff, have fun."
Now, it's over, after, of course, dying the first time on the last mission being caught completely unawares of the SUPERNOVA... "Supernova Alarm Countdown? WTF??? Jumpnode? I'm 9,000 away from that!!!!"
"We all pay tribute to Alpha 1, who sacrificed his life to save all of us, etc...." during that cutscene, i was thinking more along the lines of "WTF!!! I was heading for the frickin jumpnode with full afterburners, not caring what friendly civilian transports were getting blown up, and you think I was heroic? Cool."
Alas, it's over now, and yes, I played that last mission and survivied...
Question: Where does everybody play multiplayer, now that PXO, is, erm, dead?
