(AP) - Militants sawed off the heads of three hostages believed to be Iraqi Kurds in a grisly videotape that surfaced Sunday, hours after Iraq's prime minister said January elections would be held on schedule and asserted that American and Iraqi troops were winning the fight against an increasingly bold insurgency.

Doubtful.  Most people who s-talk this whole thing have never actually sat and watched one of these clips.  American, Nepalese, Iraqi, doesn't matter.  They are equally horrifying.

That's the whole damned problem with war: it gives sadists a free pass to act out whatever perversion they've had to keep under wraps.

Ugh. I took a quick glance at the message boards over there about this subject, and got sick to my stomach of those people after the first 3 posts.

It is f*cking sick that that kind of stuff happens. It's just barbaric.

They don't care whos head they are cutting off, just that people pay attention to them and their horrible actions. Anyone who is mentally able to cut someones head off like that needs to be put down for the good of humanity.

I'm pretty sure I saw something about some Shiite leaders being shot in Baghdad in the last few days as well?
