I have to ask (don't kill me)
Earlier, someone brought up a really good point. Even if V did FS3, it wouldn't be the same V as the guys that did FS2. Heck, what if most of them are gone? that'd be no different than any ol' group writing it, right? RIGHT? I'm not trying to stop the whole V for FS3 thing (i actually agree), but i just thought it would be important to consider

What do you guys think? (PLEASE don't flame me, i like my @ss) :shaking:

Bluntly put, not right. When V was bought by THQ, Mike Kulas (V's president) made a special note to retain virtually all the staff from the old V days. Go check the V staff listings, there are hardly any of them missing from before. Certainly all the main FS bunch are there.

Yeah, am. I mostly lurk because I never get any work done when I get online and chatting. ;)

Well, hey, that's good news, then. What's the current status of the conflict? is V helpless to do anything? I mean, they do have to answer to THQ.  we could send another petition ;7

BTW,  Dawn of War came off as REALLY good, so here's to hoping that THQ does more PC!

Kill Ciinic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding. :)
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
