No, I'm fairly sure Daemon was contributing, just not the root cause.
If I don't do anything but browse the web and play 2d games everything's hunky-dory, but as soon as DX fires up, whammo random program crashes and BSODs(which are mostly 0E(improperly accessed memory) and 06(i have no idea and neither does google) errors with the occasional 0D(general protection fault, which means that windows doesn't know what the hell went wrong) thrown in to piss me off). It'll be fixed, one way or the other, permanently, sometime in the pm on monday(I have an interview at 1pm(yay!! Being umemployed sucks after 3 years).
