I wasn't aware we had rabid WC-haters here.

Unlike the CIC, where they've gone so far as to burn and otherwise destroy copies of various non-WC space sims.  Seems rather childish if you ask me.

And as for the censor, some of the admins here have thin skins and can't take a little swearing with their forums.

The irony here is, they had to buy those copies in the first place .

I love Wing Commander though, too bad I sold my old copies off years ago (I should have at least kept  "Price of Freedom" with me) . If only I knew the value of those games back then I would have framed the discs or kept it in my safe (like my Freespace and Decent discs)

The HLP has it's share of tards don't worry. About every 2nd time something bad about FS( and don't kid yourself, even if you like it you can point out a lot of bad things about FS) is said some guy from the HLP registers over there and flames around like crazy( I don't say any names but you maybe can imagine which persons I'm talking about. Though it happened not very often the last months, though you can credit it to those guys that a lot of the CIC regulars think of Freespacers as childish nerds. Bacj in the time after FS2 came out there used to be types like "HAHA WC iIS NOT REAL LIEK FREESPACE!!!2211. You'll understand that those who don't check HLP regularly might have a bad picture  since it's partly true.

And there are lots of online swearing dictionaries, so that filter is pointless by default.

Meh, I personally enjoy both FS and WC, so i really don't understant this hate between communities.

There is no hatred between me and that community.  I just don't like wingman.  I will say that it was a better game than starlancer was.

and to show you i'm not such a bad guy.....i still have all four disks for WC3, Heart of the Tiger.  If tolwyn doesn't want em...i'll give em away on first come first serve basis.  I have Prophecy around here somewhere as well.  No sense throwing them out.

I think you misunderstood.  I may not like wing commander, and i am sure that everyone in the competition worked hard on what they did.  The thing is, the guys who are doing the WC mod for FS2 are OUR guys.  We all  KNOW that they work hard.  They didn't get my vote over this being FS2, they got my vote cause i know the work that they do.  The FS2 thing was a joke.

WC Saga Concept Music Available

Our fans may remember the concept track, that was made available some time ago. Now, one and a half year after, I have decided to uploaded only a short clip of the demo which our composer has been working on to give you an indication as to the quality of sound and so on . It is based on a theme from WC4, (which you can hear starting at the end of the WC4 intro music btw). Its not note for note "exactly" the same (if you want to be picky), but then its wasnt supposed to be. Our composer is working on the big opening tune, this is just a teaser and it will also sound better than this as this is a rough recording with his current gear.
