dg: Yeah, I know what you mean. In the beggining we had 1 cat (male) named Quincy (his real name translates to "Yellowy", on account of him being orange-white). Then he brought home a stray female, Rork, and we took her in. Then they started making babies, at a rate of two litters (that is the correct term, right?) per year, each producing 4-6 kittens. Then he (our orignal cat) also started making babies with the female kittens, once they grew up, so then we had 2 females each giving birth 2 times a year. Rork, the stray we took in at the beggining, gave birth twice, while one of her daughters, Taz, gave birth once. At that point, Rork went missing, sadly never to return. Her kittens were still small, so we had to bottle-feed them (very annoying and very endearing at the same time). We then had about 13 kittens + Quincy + Taz and some of her siblings all in the house at once (we lived in a big house at the time, so it was OK). We had to give all the kittens away unfortunately, cause it was getting quite expensive, and neuter Taz, which is the only one we kept. Oh, did I mention she also disappeared for about 3 months at one point, and it was only by chance that we found her in the humane society. Apparently, they had only found her recently, so she had been wandering a while.
Now we have Quincy (aka Godfather, cause he acts like he's the king, which he is...we all have to be very respectful and so forth hehe) and Taz (named after the Tasmanian Devil).
Having so many kittens was awesome, especially considering we had two seperate batches being born very close together, so there were 12-13 baby kittens at once. Frankly, we were running out of names.

Nospheratu, my trained leech.
One of the kittens I mentioned was actually named Nosferatu, cause he was all black. I also remember him being one of the smellier ones.
